New Season of Personal Defense Airing Now

Personal Defense Authority George Wehby New Host for Nation’s Original Show Dedicated Exclusively to Personal Defense & Safety

New Berlin, WI – The nation’s original and longest running show dedicated exclusively to personal defense and safety—Personal Defense TV—returns for its fifth season this quarter with a new host and 13 brand-new action-packed informative episodes exclusively on Sportsman Channel. A nationally recognized personal defense expert, George Wehby is a seasoned personal defense instructor with more than 25 years of experience in the military, police force, special services, as well as expert training in the martial arts.  Personal Defense TV airs Tuesdays at 8:00 am EST, and Thursdays at 9:30 AM and 8:30 PM EST, exclusively on Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American sportsman.

Season five gets off to a fast and dramatic start with the first episode titled “Vehicle Defense” showing viewers how to protect themselves from carjackings. Wehby joins defensive expert Rusty Pugh to demonstrate techniques for defending attacks on vehicles from all directions, as well as demonstrating how to effectively control a passenger or driver while engaging a threat on their side of the vehicle.





The second episode also touches on car defense techniques when you are being a Good Samaritan to a stranded motorist and they want more than a ride as Wehby demonstrates a defensive technique to use when someone reaches into your car. To help you shoot better faster, master handgunner, Massad Ayoob, joins the show to share what he calls the "bridge index" that combines points of contact with natural point of aim for good hits.
Season five will also explore hand-to-hand combat, personal firearm usage and safety, home invasion protection and much more. 

Personal Defense TV is the original and longest running national television show dedicated exclusively to personal defense, tactics and safety. ABOUT GEORGE WEHBY Wehby brings an impressive personal defense background to PDTV. From 1995 to 1999 George was US Marine Corps Infantry and served as a White House NCO as the Presidential Marine Sentry. From 1999 to 2002, he served as a street police officer in Prince Georges County, MD, where he received the Medal of Valor. Following his police service, George served from 2002 to 2007 with the US Department of Homeland Security as a Federal Air Marshall. From 2007 to 2009, George worked as a professional firearms trainer for Triple Canopy specializing in handguns and concealment.
His experience also includes a total of 25 years in Martial Arts and is currently a Mixed Martial Arts Instructor at the MMA Institute in Winchester, VA. He is a Brown Belt Instructor of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (under Rick McCoy), Black Belt in Nisei Kito Ryu Jiu-jitsu (under Sergio Decasien) and also a Black Belt in Goju Karate (under Bob Roach). His certifications include Referee with the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, Physical Fitness Coordinator, Defensive Tactics Instructor and Firearms Instructor. He specializes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
